      AirAsia's flight connecting service which allows seamless connections from one flight to another without the hassle of going through immigration and collecting your baggage when you are taking 2 different flights to get to your final destination via a short transit at a transit hub - you are checked through all the way to your final destination! (e.g. KUL is the transit point for a flight from HND-KUL then KUL-PER).

      **Please note that due to regulatory restrictions in certain countries, passengers from some international flights would need to re-check in their baggage upon arrival to continue with their domestic departure.

  • How can I purchase Fly-Thru?

      Log in to our website/the AirAsia MOVE app or visit our AirAsia Sales Offices to make bookings for our Fly-Thru destinations.

  • Why pick Fly-Thru?

      • Fly-Thru opens up a greater world of possibilities, with more route options and provides seamless connections across many key destinations on the AirAsia network.
      • No need for those long queues at immigration. For international to international Fly-Thru flights, guests do not need to clear immigration and, thus will not be subjected to fulfilling visa requirements in Kuala Lumpur or Don Mueang transit hubs (except during extended delays).
      • Your baggage is checked through to your final destination, so there's no need to collect or re-check it during transit. Upon arrival, just proceed directly to the departure gate of your second flight!

      However, for transit airports in Indonesia and Philippines, passengers from international flights with an ongoing domestic flight will still need to check out and re-check in their baggage upon arrival to continue with their domestic departure booking for their second flight.

  • What if Fly-Thru is only available one-way and not the other on my desired date of travel?

      While AirAsia does have an extensive Fly-Thru list, connecting schedules for certain routes are limited based on timings and dates of departure. In this case, it would be best to book 2 separate point-to-point bookings for your return one way journey in the event that Fly-Thru services are unavailable ---- or consider another date where Fly-Thru is applicable for your two way return journey!

  • Can I leave the departure hall once I have been checked into my next flight?

      Unfortunately, no. Please note that leaving the transit hall or departure hall is not allowed as per local regulations.
